The reopening of the Keizankai Dojo Cologne
May 23rd the reopening and opening ceremony of our new dojo took place. We were proud to welcome many visitors, but especially, Niina Gyokudo Gosoke – Mugai Ryu Grandmaster, the japanese vice generalcounsil Yasuyuki Soma and Chikaoka Sensei.
It was quite crowded and the preparations went well.
After some short opening words, Gosoke took speech.
Then Yasuyuki Soma, the council held his opening speech.
The show started with the students showing Kata.
Following by advanced Tameshigiri by Chikaoka Sensei and me.
The two of my advanced students, Juan and David, showed a special set of Kata.

Time for a break! With music and delicious food…
After the break it was time for some Kumitachi.
We were not only showing Mugai Ryu, but Tosei Ryu Tanjojutsu as well.
And finally the highlight, Enbu of Niina Gosoke, the Grandmaster of Mugai Ryu.
Finishing thank wishes were followed by a party.
